La Mesa de los Moros \/ The Moors\u2019 Table
\nKnown as the \u201cDolmen de la Mesa de los Moros\u201d, it stands as the most prominent feature of the Neolithic tomb necropolis catalogued in the Archaeological Charter of Asturias. This necropolis is situated atop L\u2019Espa\u00f1al, dividing the valleys of La G\u00fceria de Carrocera and Blimea.
\nAdjacent to the dolmen, an undiscovered 6,000-year-old burial mound was found in 2016, comprising two burial chambers from the early 4th and 3rd millenniums, making it the largest Neolithic burial mound in all of Asturias.<\/p>\n
The industrial bridges of the Nal\u00f3n, along with the mining shafts (\u201cbocaminas\u201d) and headframes (\u201ccastilletes\u201d), constitute the most captivating structures within the industrial heritage of San Mart\u00edn del Rey Aurelio.<\/p>\n
Puente La Oscura \/ La Oscura Bridge
\nIt was built in 1928 by the engineer Juan de la Torre Boul\u00edn. This bridge replaced the Pont\u00f3n bridge, in the same location, which had been repeatedly washed away by the river\u2019s waters.
\nPuente de Carrocera \/ Carrocera Bridge
\nThe Carrocera Bridge, also referred to as ‘Puente Les Chapes,’ is an iron bridge constructed in the 1930s by the Duro Felguera company. It was utilized by the Ferrocarril del Norte railway to transport coal from the Carrocera washhouse.
\nPuente del Miramar \/ Miramar Bridge
\nThe Miramar Bridge was built just a few metres from La Oscura Bridge in L\u2019Entregu \/ El Entrego, as part of a project by the Sociedad de Ferrocarriles de San Mart\u00edn. This project aimed to transport coal extracted from the upper Nal\u00f3n basin through the Carrocera valley to Lieres and ultimately to the port of El Musel in Gij\u00f3n \/ Xix\u00f3n.
\nPuente de Los Gallegos \/ Los Gallegos Bridge
\nIts name is derived from the stonemasons who crafted its pillars. This bridge, built at the start of the 20th century by F\u00e1brica de Mieres, was commissioned in 1921. It formed an integral part of the Santa B\u00e1rbara \/ Santa B\u00e1rbola branch of the Llangr\u00e9u \/ Langreo Railway Company, serving the Laviana-Sama line. Its primary purpose was to facilitate the transportation of coal extracted from the left bank of the Nal\u00f3n River in Sotrondio, from the loading bay owned by Duro Felguera located in El Pont\u00f3n.
\nPuente de La Maquinilla \/ La Maquinilla Bridge
\nThe La Maquinilla Bridge was built over the Nal\u00f3n River to link the Rimadero mining operation, which was overseen by the companies Elorduy and Herreros Hermanos, with the railway branch that provided access to Santa Ana mines in L\u2019Entregu \/ El Entrego.
\nThe mine shafts serve as historical evidence of the initial advancements in mining and are associated with the extraction of mineral deposits found in the mountain slopes. In the case of the horizontal shafts, they marked the earliest forays into underground mining operations.

Traditional architecture:
\nThe municipality boasts a wealth of ethnographic heritage in the form of centuries-old \u201ch\u00f3rreos\u201d and \u201cpaneras\u201d (raised granaries), which can be found dispersed across the area. In Sotrondio we can find \u201ch\u00f3rreos\u201d in El Rimaderu, Sanfrechoso and El Pont\u00f3n. In L’Entregu \/ El Entrego, in La Revenga, next to the farmhouse located at the foot of the site of the former parish church of San Andr\u00e9s.
\nIn the valley of La G\u00fceria there are several constructions in La G\u00fcerta – a group of granary, house and mill – La Caba\u00f1a, Coca\u00f1\u00edn, El Pull\u00edu or La Llonga. In the village of Perabeles, nestled in Santa B\u00e1rbara\/Santa B\u00e1rbola valley, there is a collection of five \u201ch\u00f3rreos\u201d, each adorned with rosette-shaped reliefs on their doors and crowned with arches. Additionally, at the heart of the village, there is a \u201cpanera\u201d featuring two intricately carved doors, solid one-piece corners, and abundant decorative elements.<\/div><\/div><\/div>
